1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ACTIE AI film studio and website (the "Service") operated by ACTIE LIMITED, company number 17094703. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may sign in with an email address and password or with a linked Google account.
3. Coins and Payment
ACTIE uses "Coins" to pay for generating images, video, voice and music. Coins are bought in packs, and the Coin cost of each generation is shown before you confirm it.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Coins cannot be exchanged for money, and Coin purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
If a generation fails, the Coins charged for it are normally returned to your Coin balance, and your Wallet history shows each return.
4. Your Content
You retain your rights in the content you submit and generate using the Service. You grant ACTIE a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the Service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any material you upload, including images and likenesses of real people, and that your prompts and outputs do not infringe anyone else's rights.
If you publish content to the ACTIE Showcase, other signed-in members can see it under the controls you set, until you remove it.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create or share content that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service, or to access it other than through the interfaces we provide.
6. AI-Generated Output
Output is generated by AI models and may be unexpected, inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish it. ACTIE does not guarantee any specific result.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, branding and text (excluding your content), is owned by ACTIE and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use ACTIE trademarks or branding.
8. Termination
You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support@actie.ai. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use puts the Service or others at risk.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACTIE disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACTIE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of Coins, content, data or profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about material changes by email or with a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
